It is a prerequisite for publication in the DiGRA digital proceedings to have presented the paper (either in person or online) and therefore to have registered as an active participant in the conference.
Yes, there must be at least one person registering as an active participant and presenting at the conference for the paper to appear in the digital proceedings. It is not necessary for everyone to register in order for everyone to be listed as an author. However, please note that only the registered person will have access to the benefits of the conference and receive the certificate of attendance.
Unfortunately, we must treat each registration separately, as it is not possible for us to ensure refunds, nor can we charge only a portion of a participation. We encourage all participants to register and pay the fee only when they are sure of their form of participation.
Yes, even if your main focus is not research, if you have been accepted to participate in DiGRA 2023 and you do not have an academic affiliation, you can still apply for the discount.
Both the PhD consortium and the workshops take place on the pre-conference day, Monday 19 June. Please check the full programme when available to find out what time you are speaking.
